Triscuit snacks

This recipe was submitted by one of our readers. It's a nice snack to serve to company or for yourself. It's low in fat and sugar and it is easy to assemble.

7 fat reduced Triscuit crackers
2 tbs fat free cream cheese
7 mild pepper rings (I use Vlasic Peppers - mild)

Spread cream cheese on crackers top each cracker with a pepper ring. Make 7 crackers for each person.

Edamame

Soybeans in natural shell make a great snack. This peel and eat snack is a nice substitute for nuts, chips or popcorn.

Ingredient list

Fresh or frozen Edamame.

Cover edamame with water and boil for five minutes.
Drain water and sprinkle edamame with sea salt.

Peel and eat. Serve them as a side-dish or eat them as a snack.
