Water Aerobics - Best Exercise for Mind and Body


Water Aerobics

Water aerobics is by far one of the best activities any one can participate in. In an average class you will have young and old, fit and unfit working together in one class. Each participant working as hard as they feel.
 
I realize that some people will not even consider going to the pool because they have to put on a bathing suit and walk across that pool deck. I understand that. I felt the same, I still feel that way. I don’t think that feeling ever goes away.
 
When you do get to the pool and into an water aerobics class you will wonder why you didn’t go sooner. The people in the water aerobics class are just like you. They are there to move their bodies. With the properties of water, including buoyancy and resistance creates such a unique workout that just isn’t possible at a regular fitness class.
 
With that said get yourself a towel, wrap or cover-up put it over your swim suit; march from the change room straight to the local pool; take off that cover-up as close to the pool edge as you can and get into the water, quick. No one will laugh, point or stare. We are not in high school anymore.
